DOGSPOTTING: ROLL OVER, BI-TOVEN!

The find of a life time! Two HUGE St. Bernard's just livin' it up on their porch. I saw these two guys on my way to Silverlake Jubilee for an all-day DOGSPOTTING mission. On my way in they were up and wandering around their yard, but I couldn't get them in the same shot. I spent most of the day talking about how incredible they were and came up with the name "Bi-toven" to describe the phenomenon (not that I am likely to stumble across two more colossal canines such as these). As luck would have it, I caught them at nap-time on my way out. As a 100 lb. girl, I really wish I could have gotten a picture in between these two, but a fence and the fact that it would be even weirder than taking pictures of dogs, stopped me that day.

DOGSPOTTING: Epic Collie!

This is one of those beautiful dogs that makes you proud to be an American. Standing tall, fur in the wind. She could be a dog model. I often use the phrase "Beautiful Fucking Dog" or BFD to refer to dogs that I would put in a calendar with that name (don't steal my idea!). They might not be my favorite breeds, but I recognize prime examples of epic dogs when I see them. This fancy lady is Miss September. I will be posting more BFDs is the future.

DOGSPOTTING: The Leo DiCaprio of Dogs

The first DOGSPOTTING entry! And what first dog it is! Look at this guy! This is one of the best pups I have seen in a long time. I would not mind coming home this after a long day at work. I love white dogs, but for the same reason I don't buy white clothes, I just know my white pup would end up brown. Messy owner=messy pup. I am looking for a dirt colored dog, but I just can't help following in love with these little snowball fluffy fellows. I think he is a Maltese, but what do you think?
